Wedding bookings on hold – here’s why!
As you might have seen, I’m not taking on any new bookings for weddings (for now!). Here you’ll find a quick personal note on why 😉
First and foremost, shooting weddings doesn’t suit my current (nomadic) lifestyle. In the past 7 years, I have moved around quite a lot. From Bali to Costa Rica, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, and Germany. This type of freedom – living in the present + being open to adventures – means the world to me. However, most weddings get planned far ahead of time. And when you say yes to shooting someone’s big day, you obviously take that commitment seriously. But to be honest with you, I want to keep my schedule open from now on.
On top of that, I want to focus on editorial photography again. I love the creative process (scouting locations, sourcing props, being in charge of the art direction, etc.) when working with entrepreneurs, creatives & brands. Weddings are more about documenting what is happening, which doesn’t fully fulfill me creatively. What I really love about what I do is the ability to take an image I have in my head and create it. I want to tell a story, and I want to MAKE something.
To keep this note short + sweet… Although I might be offering wedding photography again in the future, for now – I’m your girl when it comes to lifestyle & editorial photography! Whether you’re an entrepreneur, creative bird, or the owner of a boutique brand. Let’s create amazing visuals, those that seriously stand out from the crowd, and explore the most exciting parts of the world while doing so.
Side note: I’m currently based in Bali, but available wherever your badass brand takes me!
